In a sad bit of high irony, producers of the Sitcom Two and a Half Men announced that they're shutting down production due to the fact that its star, Charlie Sheen, is acting way too much like his fictional counterpart.  "It's okay when he acts like this on tv, but when he goes off book and starts behaving this way in real life, it's not", stated executive produce and creator Chuck Lorre, finally realizing that his show's premise wasn't ever really all that funny.  "If we do decide to continue with the show next year, we'll make sure to cast an actor who's nothing like the character, so we can keep deluding ourselves and the audience that it's an actual comedy", he continued.
