    US Inmate John Duty Executed in Vet's Office

    A shortage of sodium thiopental, the kinder, gentler drug for death row inmates in the US, forced the state of Oklahoma to use the animal euthanasia drug pentobarbital so that, "he could die like the damned dirty dog he was."
